Ever since Poco F1 made a splash with its first smartphone in 2018, people have been dying to know when the next Poco phone will come out. That’s one question which we get asked almost every other day. Well, now we have an answer.
Poco has confirmed that it’s next phone, Poco X2 is launching on February 4. Yes, Poco just confirmed the name and the launch date of its next phone, putting an end to all the mystery.
So what do we know about this new phone? Well, not a lot at the moment, but we still have enough info to get excited about. According to the Poco website, we know that the Poco X2 will have a high refresh rate screen. We think it’s going to be a 120Hz panel, making it one of the smoothest smartphone displays available on the market.
Besides that, the phone will also have a Sony IMX686 sensor as one of the cameras at the back. It’ll also be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor. Although there’s no official confirmation, we think it’ll be the Snapdragon 730G. Lastly, the Poco X2 is also said to have some kind of a liquid cooling tech and a USB Type-C port for charging.
And hey, we also see a 3.5mm headphone jack. Overall, from the looks of it, the Poco X2 sounds a lot like Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 smartphone that debuted last year. That’s not a bad thing at all, because the Redmi K30 is a great phone. But is Poco X2 really the Redmi K30 Pro, well, we’ll find out on February 4.
