7. University of California – Berkeley Campus
Founded in 1868, the University of California—Berkeley a public research university and regarded as one of the best state universities in the US. The university is located in San Francisco’s Bay Area, and the campus size spread to a sprawling 1,232 acres. The university follows a semester-based academic calendar.
