Samsung announced the availability of the Note 10 Lite in India today after it was unveiled at CES by the company earlier this month. It is a more affordable version of the Galaxy Note 10 that has the same support for S Pen as its more expensive counterpart. The S-Pen can be used for multitasking, editing documents on the go, give presentations, control video playback and even use it as a remote for taking pictures with the phone’s camera.
“At Samsung, we believe in delivering meaningful innovations that improve the lives of our consumers. Galaxy Note series is known for its differentiated experience that empowers users to explore infinite possibilities. With the launch of Galaxy Note10 Lite, consumers will get premium features at an accessible price point. Pro-Grade camera, Cinematic display, powerful processor and long-lasting battery make Galaxy Note10 Lite the most sought-after smartphone for the multitasking needs of millennials. Galaxy Note10 Lite’s signature S Pen also enables users to access Galaxy innovations for self-expression and productivity,” said Aditya Babbar, Director, Mobile Business, Samsung India.
In terms of the display, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED edge-to-edge Infinity-O display and has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The Infinity-O display comes with a punch-hole camera on the front of the display for a better viewing experience as it reduces the bezels by a huge margin.
In the camera department, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite has a 12MP wide-angle camera along with a 12 MP Ultra Wide (123o field of view) and a 12 MP Telephoto lens. The camera also comes with a Dual Pixel OIS (Optical Image Specialization) and the super steady mode we’ve seen on the Note 10 previously. The Note 10 Lite is also capable of capturing portrait videos like the Note 10 where it adds depth-of-field adjustment to blur out the background.
In terms of other specifications, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is powered by Samsung’s own 10nm Exynos 9810 octa-core processor and comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite also comes with a 4,500mAh battery and an in-display fingerprint scanner. For storage options, the Note 10 Lite comes with 128GB internal memory which can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD.
Galaxy Note10 Lite will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Black and Aura Red colours and is priced at Rs 38,999 for the 6GB variant and Rs 40,999 for the 8GB variant. Samsung is also offering upgrade offers of up to Rs 5,000, which can bring down the price of the Galaxy Note10 Lite to an effective price of Rs 33,999. The smartphone will be available on major retail stores, online stores and on Samsung.com.
